ENVIRONMENTAL INTEGRITY

Our approach goes beyond purchasing carbon credits.

It shapes the everyday decisions behind our gear. From material choices and real-world testing before production to behind-the-scenes work like consolidating shipments.

BETTER BY DESIGN

When you experience our gear in person, it’s immediately obvious that it’s built to last. Quality materials, robust zippers, and mil-spec–inspired construction set our gear apart. Then we take it a step further, with true-to-brand, borderline-insane, real-world testing to prove it.

MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT

We choose materials built to perform — from PFAS-free fabric coatings to recycled materials used in select products. We develop and test all materials to failure to ensure they perform as long as possible.

SOCIAL Accountability

We match 100% of our Boulder HQ’s electricity use through Windsource®, a Green-e® Energy-certified renewable electricity program. We sponsor, host, and participate in local cleanups and are part of a broader community dedicated to protecting the places where we live, work, and travel.

CARBON PROJECTS

Shipping gear from manufacturers to our U.S. distribution network generates carbon emissions. We help fund carbon projects through the purchase of credits, selecting third-party-certified projects and reviewing whether they deliver benefits that wouldn't have happened otherwise.

DO THINGS RIGHT

We build things right, even if it costs more.

Treat people right, even when no one is looking. Make responsible choices with materials and operations, even if there's no marketing value.

We do things our way, even if it’s difficult or different.
